Philosophy of Home Bible Studies
To delve more deeply into selected books of the Bible and enjoy more intimate fellowship with other believers, a SCBC Home Bible Study may be for you. Most quarters, we offer a study in Bellingham and/or Lynden. Each study requires some effort at home–on average 1-3 hours of time per week. The more people that are able to commit one evening a week, the more studies we will aim to offer.

Psalms: Soul Songs
When worry, fear, discouragement, and guilt clamor for our attention, we can fight back by singing deeper, stronger melodies of truth from God’s Word, just as we see the psalmists do. Come tune your heart to sing His grace this spring with a six-week study on “Psalms: Soul Songs,” using a helpful guide from Tim Chester. Pastor Curtis and Kyle Holden will co-lead this class. Book cost is $7; sign up in the foyer.
This isan opportunity for senior saints (and any interested adults) to meet weekly for teaching, discussion, and fellowship in a convenient daytime slot at 1:00 PM on Wednesdays. This group runs independently of the SCBC quarter system and is currently working through the Matthias Media study, “Famine and Fortune,” which brings out profound redemptive realities through the familiar story of Ruth. New members are invited to jump in any time! Contact Craig Moir or Jennifer Dorr with any questions.
