Women's Ministries Women Teaching Women: Honoring the Word
Our consciences are precious blessings from God, yet it can be tricky knowing how to shape them biblically and interact with other believers who hold differing convictions. Find help for the process in our Women’s Afternoon study of "Conscience: What It Is, How to Train It, and Loving Those Who Differ." Cheryl Y. leads this 8-week class on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 PM beginning September 25. Book cost is $11. Register here. Childcare provided.
Garden Terrace Tea
Take in the last few rays of late summer sun and lingering daylight hours with a special tea that starts outside on our terrace Tuesday, September 18 at 7:00 PM. We’ll enjoy treats, fellowship, and an encouraging message centered on God’s grace at work in our everyday lives. You’ll be strengthened by time in God’s Word and sister-to-sister conversations across the table! Watch for a sign-up and more details, and be thinking of a friend or two that you can invite.
Classes & Bible Studies
Most quarters, SCBC offers a women’s morning or afternoon book study on Tuesdays. Free nursery care and a Good News Club are offered for your children during this time. We also periodically offer a Discipleship Hour class targeted towards women, such as a book/Bible study or Biblical Womanhood course. These are all wonderful opportunities to come together with other ladies and learn from solid teaching material, the study leader, and one another.
We offer ladies numerous opportunities to gather throughout the year for fellowship events, mother-daughter equipping, retreats, and more. Watch this page for upcoming dates!
