Men’s Ministries Equipping Men for Ministry

LD

Leadership Development

Our usual Men's Morning classes will be suspended for the winter and spring 2020 quarters as we launch our new Leadership Development program for men 16 and up. LDev is a two-year process (broken into 6-month segments) that focuses on three key areas in our men: doctrinal ownership, Bible knowledge, and most importantly—character development. We will meet every other week (Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, starting February 4) for 2 hours to cover these topics, grow in our love for Christ, and sharpen our effectiveness in the church while increasing our care for one another as men. Assignments will strategically target these three realms. Watch for more details soon and talk to Pastor Andrew or Gary Jordan with questions.

Men's Retreat

Men's Retreat

Save the weekend of March 6-7 for our 2020 Men’s Retreat, held for the first time at Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center in Stanwood. We are excited to be bringing back pastor and author William Farley to speak on “The Joy of Humility: Masculinity That Builds Up the Church.” In four sessions (surrounded by lots of time for fellowship and fun together!), we’ll look at manhood in relation to God’s glory, humility, gratitude, and husbandry. Register here by February 23.

Men’s Morning & Men’s Evening

Most quarters we offer an interactive book study discussion group for men, open for participation of those 15 and older. This ministry has taken dozens and dozens of men through dozens and dozens of quality books over the many years it has been offered. In addition to what is gained from reading a quality, biblical resource and the discussion of meaty questions pertaining to it, you will also enjoy the brother-to-brother fellowship and lasting relationships this time provides you.

Men’s Breakfasts

A few times a year we call our men out on a Saturday morning for a time of fellowship and challenge. In what we call the "Iron Sharpening Iron" series, we are focusing on critical topics that every man should face and draw biblical convictions about.
