Unified Wednesdays One Body in One Place


We are excited to continue growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ as a church family over this coming fall, as well as reaching out to a world in desperate need of meaningful hope and help. With all the life adjustments we’ve had to make over the past six months due to COVID, our elder team has put a lot of hours into intentionally and strategically planning for this fall, trying to maximize our opportunities by consolidating several ministries to one night.

We’re calling this new model “Unified Wednesdays,” and it will combine offerings for men, women, and kids of all ages, which were previously spread throughout the week. This enables everyone to come to one place at one time, and receive teaching and encouragement tailored to their specific season while also facilitating whole-body fellowship as we mingle together. Unified Wednesdays will happen here at SCBC on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM, alternating with our ongoing Care Group meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays (if you aren’t yet benefitting from the regular connection and care of one of these small groups, talk to Pastor Curtis about plugging in!).
